In the historic swimming pool from the imperial era there is now a restaurant with a daily lunch menu. We recommend. After refreshment inside or in the beautiful garden, you can go on a discovery tour to the nearby castle, to other historical buildings, to stroll in the old town or to the promenade of the Great Plöner See. Have fun in the always beautiful Plön.

Ordered food to be picked up. Everything was very fresh, on time and even nicely presented. Would love to go back and worth a recommendation.

First star is for the location. Second star is for the smell and appearance of the food of the others. The food I can not comment on, can only say that it looked really delicious. But the service, or lack thereof, results in 0 stars. You get the impression that you are in trouble and that the staff would rather have fun with the friends who eat at the restaurant, than serve the other guests.

If you want to take a quick lunch break while passing through, you are completely wrong here. It took a good twenty minutes before we could order at all, the drinks came a quarter of an hour later, and it took another quarter of an hour longer for the food to be on the table - it's really annoying when other guests arrive much later and are already ready are while one is still waiting. The two waitresses were visibly overwhelmed. The crab and prawn salad was good. The fried goat cheese with ratatouille was mediocre, especially because ratatouille isn't just any stew where you throw in everything you find in the kitchen, except onions, peppers, aubergines, zucchini and tomatoes, has no business in it, and certainly not a leek. The lunch break ended up being an hour and a half, I would have preferred a sandwich on the edge of the lake than staring at the empty table half the time.

Nice place and service. The daily menu offers a nice and inexpensive selection of changing dishes.

Worst service I've ever experienced. If you are told twice in a restaurant that you should go please, the table is now to be sold elsewhere, you are probably not expected to return there again.

On the castle grounds…. Have you ever dined in a swimming pool? We too for the first time. This historic castle building is a somewhat different restaurant: the outer facade is similar to the noble castle next door, with a large garden for dining in the countryside, and a real dining room as a vault. Inside is a real bar counter and a very interesting menu - with daily changing dishes (€ 8.30) already fixed for a month. Service and cuisine quick, friendly and qualified. Food carefully considered, smart, tasty in good portions at fair prices. It was an experience for us to be a guest here.

Seldom eaten so bad. Too bad. The location is very nice. Maybe you can have a nice coffee outside. But I wouldn't order anything to eat here.

Delicious food, generously positioned and attractively presented. There is also an inexpensive daily special. The large garden allows many tables outside and this in the center of Plön.

Very tasty food. Seats in the middle of the lawn, under trees, beer garden flair - thank God it stands out from the crowd at the restaurants in town. Reserve in advance if possible

Super delicious food, prices are a bit higher than you are used to from such dishes. Staff was friendly, but after 30 minutes we had to ask if we could order something to drink. The waiting time for the dishes was accordingly. I guess it's because of the Corona time. Otherwise highly recommended.

Nice location, delicious food too. Price range ok too. Fish is recommended. Very idyllic location at the foot of the castle.

Were asked without any greeting if we had made a reservation. We said no. Even if one or the other table became available for a short time, the hospitality was rejected unfriendly because tables were reserved. We "only" wanted to have a coffee at 5pm. We weren't asked for that. Pity!

Just left... we were not served or got any attention. After 15 minutes we left.

It was a little later when we came after a concert. Very nicely received and eaten very well, despite the late hour. ? highly recommended

Very very good food! Staff tried hard, but when it was full, two conditions were simply not enough, so the fifth star was missing!

Second drink ordered - was not served. The dog was not offered any water (30 degrees in the shade). Chair cushion ordered - was not brought or not informed that there is none. First of all, 5 minutes visually indicates that you want to pay. Different service staff went over the terrace 4 times, but didn't pay any attention to us. Appropriately paid, without tip, due to the unsatisfactory service. The servant wordlessly took the money and cleared the table. Difference? Nothing! Food was delicious. Conclusion: It was the first visit for a long time and definitely the last visit!

Very good kitchen and even an individually arranged food was offered. Thank you very much and all the best and a lot of strength. Thanks to both bands of the evening They made with their live music for best mood. We happened to be in Plön with you.
